Their varied experience and disciplines; behavioral health, wellness/fitness, health services management, IT, and marketing, provide for a very comprehensive team approach. This team will implement and manage a program for your organization. In July 2010, Bob Goodman retired from Manatee County to focus his attention on growing his newly founded company, GenerationsHP.

Bob served over 15 years as the Manager of Benefits for the Manatee County, FL Government.  In that role, he designed and managed a leading-edge health benefits program for county employees.  This program won multiple national and local awards for innovative design, program effectiveness, and benefits leadership.

While at Manatee County, initiatives included a state-of-the-art integrated comprehensive Personal Health Information (PHI), Electronic Wellness Medical Record ( EWMR) and WebChart with Gaps of Care reporting with cell messaging.  The program was self funded, administered in-house, promoted wellness/prevention, included a two-tier pharmacy network, and directly contracted with providers.  In 2006, Manatee County brought EAP and behavioral health on-site and integrated the program with all, health, and wellness programs

In September 2009 Manatee County received the Pioneer Institute’s Better Government Award for “Innovative Health Care Initiative”; and Bob also received the 2009 Benny Award for “Innovative Healthcare and Benefit Management.”  Additionally, in 2009, Manatee County’s Health Plan joined IHPM’s Value-Based Initiative.

Prior to joining Manatee County Bob Goodman owned one of the original Third Party Administrative Organizations servicing more than 50,000 employees and 400 employers, associations, school districts and other government agencies.  Bob developed the original electronic automated census and claims adjudication systems that operated from multiple locations.

Bob is a graduate of Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Commerce.

 


 
Jill B. Goodman

Chief Financial Officer

Jill has been the Chief Financial Officer for Generations HP for the past 4 years.  

She also owns and operates her own Consulting firm which specializes in providing CFO, and IT support to small and medium size businesses in the South Eastern United States.  Prior to that, she spent 18 months as Chief Financial Officer of Kidde Residential and Commercial, a manufacturer of fire extinguishers and smoke alarms.  Jill spent the first 22 years of her career primarily in senior management positions with Esab Welding and Cutting (Formerly Union Carbide Linde).  She held several positions including Vice President of Finance ESAB for their North American Businesses (2 years), and Chief Financial Officer and VP Of Finance of Esab Canada (10 Years). In these positions, Jill has had significant responsibility for improving the organizations profitability by effectively managing their operations, strategic planning, mergers, treasury, controllership, human resources and Information Technology functions. She has a BS in Accounting from Penn State University and a MBA from Pace University.  Jill resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her husband and 3 teenage children.

 


 
Terri Goodman

Chief Operating Officer & Information Technology

Terri has been the Chief Operating Officer for Generations HP since July 2010.

She brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare services and health management to her role as Chief Operating Officer.  As an administrative and senior level manager, she has worked with physicians groups, hospitals, medical centers, home health care providers, education and research programs, and not-for-profits.  Her background encompasses virtually all aspects of administration and leadership including revenue management, strategic planning, customer service, staff management/ mentorship, and the oversight of multi site day-to-day operations.   

Terri’s interest in healthcare services began at the University of Michigan where she earned both a B.S. and M.S. degree in Education and Health Management. As Director of Marketing and Business Operations for U-M’s Health Management Research Center, she helped design, promote and implement one of the nation’s pioneering health promotion programs.  The HMRC was first in the U.S. to use Health Risk Appraisal software developed by the Centers for Disease Control.  Terri organized a national network to distribute the HRA tool and customized its use for clients ranging from Dow Chemical to General Motors.

Her subsequent positions have included Manager of Patient Accounting for U-M’s Department of Internal Medicine; Senior Director of Business Systems for Advocate Health Care (Chicago); and Vice President of Operations for Apria Health Care., Florida Region, and most recently, Partners in Practice, Sarasota, FL.

In the course of a multi-faceted career, Terri has consulted with physicians, administrators, academicians and research scientists.  She has consistently been recognized for her achievements in improved profitability, cost containment, technology implementation, and dedicated customer service.

Terri is a US Masters Swimmer and competes with the nationally ranked Sarasota Sharks.
